ROBINSON R44 RAVEN II

The R44 is the most versatile and popular helicopter manufactured today.

The R44 was certified by the FAA in December of 1992.

Lone Star Helicopters operates our Robinson R44 flight training, tours, hog eradication, game counts, relief work and utility work.

SCHWEIZER 300 CBI

The Schweizer 300 series has the best safety rating of any FAA certified piston-powered light helicpter in production today. Derivity from the original Hughes 269, which was introduced in 1964 as one of the Army’s primary pilot training helicopter saw service all the way through 1988 as a primary military trainer. The Schweizer 300 CBi specifically was designed for the helicopter pilot training environment. With its smooth, stable, reliable and robust design, the Schweizer 300 series helicopter is definitely a pilot favorite.

Lone Star Helicopters operates our Schweizer S300 CBi primarily as our #1 flight training aircraft for new and add-on pilots. It is also utilized for relief and utility work. Lone Star Helicopters is also proud to be the Schweizer RSG Factory Pilot Training and Demo Aircraft Facility here in the great State of Texas.
